Die klimafreundliche Österreich-Rundfahrt - The Climate Tour
Auch heuer tourte die Klimastaffel wieder durch Österreich!
Zum 13. Mal tourte die klimafreundliche Österreich- Rundfahrt von 22. Juni bis 4. Juli 2012 durch ca. 30 - 40 Gemeinden. In kurzen Etappen ging es auf umweltfreundlicher Art und Weise von Gemeinde zu Gemeinde.
Um ein breites Bild der verschiedenen klimafreundlichen Verkehrsmittel zu vermitteln, wurde die Tour von einem E-Auto, sowie Fahrrädern begleitet. Es wurden von den Gemeinden und Schulen Events organisiert, wobei verstärkt die Vorteile alternativer Mobilität und ihre Einsatzmöglichkeiten aufgezeigt wurden, und an die TeilnehmerInnen im Zuge von Klimaquiz, Workshops und Schätzspielen vermittelt wurden.
The Klimastaffel or Climate Tour is an information and participation campaign, which moves through Austria exclusively in a sustainable way to inform people about climate- and environmental topics.
The focus of the Klimastaffel is on a collective climate-friendlier way of locomotion from one municipality to the next one, especially with bicycles but also with public transport.
Everyone is invited to join the tour by stages, from one municipality to the next, to show their engagement for climate projection. Also lots of schools are incorporated, because they are the policy maker of the future.
In all stations of the Klimastaffel people and children can get in touch with climate- and environmental topics in a playful way by doing a climate-quiz or workshops.
